Instructions

THIS PROGRAM IS STILL IN ALPHA - IT WILL GET BETTER This is a text-to-speech engine. To use it, simply type a line of text in all capital letters, with no punctuation. A few examples: HELLO HOW ARE YOU TODAY I AM FINE THANK YOU I AM SAM VOICE OF THE COMMODORE SIXTY FOUR MY KINGDOM FOR A HORSE TO BE OR NOT TO BE THAT IS THE QUESTION BLESSED ARE THE MEEK

Description

This entire project is an emulation of the SAM (Software Automatic Mouth) program, originally written by Don't Ask Software (now SoftVoice) for the Commodore 64, but was available for other computers like the Apple II. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_Automatic_Mouth I have yet to add proper support for diphthongs, so words that blend vowels like 'defeat' and 'room' might be pronounced wrong. If you hear any common words that you think should be changed, please leave a comment.
