Cally walked up to him and patted his head. "He's so cute!" She said. "Yes, he is! Isn't that right boy?" She said with a smile as she petted Azure. He let out a deep growl, his tail wagging excitedly. They were playing in the backyard when a roar came from the forest nearby "...That's odd? The Bonecrushers never roar that loud, and Azure is the only Thunderfang in the kingdom." They went into the forest to further investigate the noises. As they ventured deeper into the forest, they were surrounded by the lush green leaves of the Forest of Protection, the warm breeze blowing against their skin. Eventually, they saw two giant Bonecrushers fighting over something, they hid behind a tree and watched. "Woah! I've never seen Bonecrusher fight before!" Emery exclaimed. Despite the misleading name, Boncrushers were quite peaceful creatures, so this was a surprise to both of them. As she observed closer, Cally noticed a strange glittering headpiece, studded with precious jewels in all sorts of colors. Eventually, the tail of one of the Bonecrushers struck the head of the others, and it collapsed to the ground. It was clear which one won the fight. It raised its head triumphantly and flew off, grasping the headpiece firmly with its talons. The two girls looked at each other and knew that they were going on a wonderful adventure.
A guide to the dragons of Starfall Bonecrushers, herbivorous wyverns with strong, heavy tails that can easily knock trees down, and wing patterns that have similar shapes to the wax in lava lamps. These dragons do not attack unless provoked, some rumors have even claimed that these dragons sometimes keep humans as ‘pets’. Their scales are a wide variety of colors, most commonly purplish blue, but sometimes they are green or orange. Thunderfangs are omnivorous dragons with electric blue scales that fly through thunderstorms to save energy to use in a fight. They do not attack unless provoked. Their diet consists of rainforest fruit, cattle, and large mammals. Watersnappers are carnivorous fish-like dragons that live in ponds, lakes, and rivers. They only eat fish and other various things in the water. Some rumors claim that there is a much more dangerous deep-sea variant, but that hasn't been proven yet. They are tiny, and the only damage they can do is bite a finger off.
