I randomly got the idea to remake an old comic I made in 2022 (how is that only 2 years ago), featuring my friend @neonbeans. The context in the original was that neon told me that "beans give you diabetes" or something, and I was like "lmao what" and made a comic based off it. However, both comics are terrible. Art wise and joke wise. (Ok mainly the original's art, the original remake is...better. But those beans still look like feces.) The joke especially, because the punchline is cryptic. If you have to add text to explain the joke, that's a sign the joke is not good. So, I adjusted the gag to be a bit more clear. I also replaced the beans with potatoes because it'd be kinda hypocritical if neonBEANS got mad at me for eating beans. I guess it's more so a "sequel" than a remake. I actually began this in January this year, but forgot about it for a bit. Neon's 15th birthday is actually coming soon on the 27th, so that's accidental perfect timing, I guess.
