DTA . draw-to-adopt . a contest which is entered by drawing art of the character and rewards the winner with the character WTA . write-to adopt . a contest which is entered by writing a story/giving the character a personality and rewards the winner with the character hello everyone! first off, we thank each and every one of you for getting us to 700 followers, and we wanted to host a contest to commemorate this milestone :) [ c h a r a c t e r s ] 1 . cyborg 2 . beetle [ i n s t r u c t i o n s ] 1 . give whichever character you enter for a name, personality, and traits — you can write a short story with them or just stick with an in-depth bio. 2 . draw the character! extra points for a fun pose, lighting, expression sheets, or animation. (art can be digital or traditional, but try to take a well-lit photo if you’re entering traditional art) 3 . feel free to post a WIP or comment that you’re planning on joining, this lets us remind you in the future if you forget. 4 . please don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions :) [ r u l e s ] 1 . shouldn’t need to say this, but use your own work! this applies to both the art and the writing—use of AI/tracing/etc is not allowed 2 . please don’t put yourself or others down. don’t complain that others’ art/writing is better than yours or that there’s no way you can win. it just makes everyone involved feel bad and it’s not a good compliment. however, you’re very welcome to check out the other apps and encourage others :) 3 . again, this should be a given, but if you win, credit us for the design!
