on january 13, 2000, no. 281 was going on a journey from new york city to indianapolis, when it got switched onto the wrong track, then it saw a construction site up ahead, the locomotive applied the brakes itself and whistled loudly, but it was too late, no. 281 had charged onto the construction site and fell off of the unfinished bridge, every car had tumbled off of the construction site, it was the worst crash in eastern atlantic history, only 10 out of all the 132 people had survived the crash, hopefully there wont be any tragic crashes like this again.
