♿️ This game can be played without sound, and if you are using a keyboard, it can be played with sound only. ⚠️☠️ This game contains graphic descriptions of violence, horrifying monsters and death. This is an interactive fantasy adventure story, where you can choose between a set of actions in each situation. There are multiple "good" endings - can you find them all? ❖❖❖ Notes ❖❖❖ This is a "remastered" version of my 98-block game Choose Your Adventure: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/660344760/ The only noticeable difference is that this version uses a beautiful and very readable font (Vollkorn) that works on all systems, even Android. But the code is very different as well. In the original project, all the text was contained in costumes. Here, it is stored in a list and rendered using Stamp Font Engine++ by @-Rex-. This requires more code of course. The original project used 98 code blocks, but here I have used 129 code blocks in my sprites, and Stamp Font Engine++ uses a whopping 1568 code blocks! I have planned on releasing a "deluxe" version of the game ever since I released it, with music and illustrations on top of the improved font. I have composed a few tracks, but I haven't made any illustrations. Since I've made so little progress, I decided to release this version for the time being. ❖❖❖ Credits ❖❖❖ The book illustrations (when you win or lose) were drawn by me in the Scratch paint editor, using various photos as references.
