She gave that title to her brother, Sparrow. Still, she hated how the village used him as a tool because he had magic. One day, Emery and Sparrow were sent to their turn of hunting. As they ventured deeper into the forest they found… An egg? “Why would an egg this big be sitting out where predators could get it?” Emery said. She went and picked up the egg as it started hatching. Sparrow gasped. “Emery, that's a dragon egg!” and sure enough, the shell cracked, and a small, blue head poked out of the egg. Chapter 1 In the heart of the Kingdom Dragoncove, a giant, beautiful willow tree swayed in the wind. Children ran around, playing games, and climbing trees. Shortly after she turned 11, Cally was rushing across the road, clutching a basket in her hands. She quickly ran to a large house and knocked on the door. “Emery! EMERY I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE!” she shrieked with excitement. Emery poked her head out of the door. “Whhhhhaaaaaaaaat,” She said with an exasperated sigh “I brought gifts! I'm happy you moved in!” She said innocently. Emery looked at her with piercing eyes, “You just want to see my dragon don't you?” She said, Cally looked at her for a moment, as if they were having a mini staring contest, “Okay fine, where is he.” Cally said, bursting with excitement. “He's in the backyard, you can go see him if you like-'' But before she could finish, Cally dropped her basket and rushed through the house to go see the dragon. She got to the backyard and gasped, it was a beautiful, blue Thunderfang, with green and red scales speckled across its wings and snout. Emery quickly caught up with her and smiled, “What's his name?” Cally asked. Emery looked at her and smiled, “Azure.”
A guide to the dragons of Starfall Bonecrushers, herbivorous wyverns with strong, heavy tails that can easily knock trees down, and wing patterns that have similar shapes to the wax in lava lamps. These dragons do not attack unless provoked, some rumors have even claimed that these dragons sometimes keep humans as ‘pets’. Their scales are a wide variety of colors, most commonly purplish blue, but sometimes they are green or orange. Thunderfangs, Omnivorous dragons with electric blue scales that fly through thunderstorms to save energy to use in a fight. They do not attack unless provoked. Their diet consists of rainforest fruit, cattle, and large mammals. Watersnappers, Carnivorous fish-like dragons that live in ponds, lakes, and rivers. They only eat fish and other various things in the water. Some rumors claim that there is a much more dangerous deep sea variant, but that hasn't been proven yet. They are very small, and the only damage they can do is biting a finger off.
