The battle of Solas Ridge was a crucial battle in the Kafi Split / 1st Civil War. The pro-government forces control a strategic location known as Solas Ridge, if the rebels captured it, the capital city would be at risk, The Battle was started when a large force of Rebels stormed down into a fortified pit, the only way to get to the enemy position and artillery, and took a trench, shortly after, the trench was destroyed by artillery, the battle concluded after several days with a Rebel victory and the capture of the position and many losses on both sides. The Battle would go on to cause the Kefi Republic loyalists to flee the planet, the elite managing to get on ships whilst the army held the assault on Kefeon off until they got away, shortly after the ship left, the capital fell to the rebels.
