Among the others, here was CoCo, her watchful eyes on the stage. Traveling from district 1-6 to avoid /that/ family still didn’t help her cause, she was still old enough, or should we say young enough to participate in the hunger games. A dumb thing for entertainment.. punishment? She sighed, the cat on stage held up a microphone, before drawing names. A /lot/ of names. What was the capitol thinking!? This was way too many cats to just.. sacrifice! Coco anxiously watched the stage as a final name was called out. “Coco truffle! Please make your way to the stage.” Her heart stopped. It was actually her. And she couldn’t do anything about it. There was /nothing/ to do now except follow orders, so that’s what she did. Reluctantly Coco stood up slowly walking onto the stage. People had always been telling her may the odds be in her favor”… those /rats./ The year after she had been eligible, when she thought she was safe of course she had to be chosen the odds were not in her favor. Make a performance, show no mercy, win the games. Fᵢₙd yₒᵤᵣ ₛᵢₛₜₑᵣ. A voice in her head always whispered, it didn’t matter she was probably enjoying her time in district 8 Coco still didn’t see why anyone would want to leave district 1, but here she was as a representative of district 6. /six/ she sighed, waving at the crowed before being ushered into the train. /May the odds be in your favor/ cats voices echoed, saying once again, at this point, with her luck.
