A powerful and hard to destroy armoured weapon that is similar to the striders but is not a living creature. It has an invisible forcefield that can block any attacks from the outside but it does not block attacks that the tripod does from the inside of the forcefield. It uses a dark energy engine instead of the original power the martians used for THEIR tripods and finally, its attacks are the ability to grab things with the tentacles it has and it can launch a heatray from its blaster. The heatray laser vaporizes anything but is mostly adapted to kill normal soldiers. It can still use the heatray to destroy titans though. These things are also slightly bigger than the striders but not much bigger than them.
