HEADCANON: This unnamed freelance locomotive was based off of a Gresley A1 with components of an LMS 2MT & a BR Standard 9F. It sadly failed miserably, so they decided to burn him alive. Now, because he's now dead, he now runs on souls & blood of his victims.
