Territory is of significant importance to house cats as it determines where a cat feeds, hunts and rests. Cats mark their territory by rubbing their faces against objects, releasing pheromones, and observation of this behaviour allows us to recognise where a cat is dominant within a specific region. Using this information, I have mapped the territories of multiple cats (including Rosie, my own) to create this animation. I hope that you find this project interesting!
