I went a little bit off palette, but i hope this is okay! Poor Mantella... (if you want to know the story behind her wing and why she's sad, scroll down!) OC: Mantella - MudWing, she/her, pale brown, slashed and frostbreathed right wing The Story (hoo boy it's very long): Mantella is the third youngest sibling out of six siblings. (those are her sibs flying in the last panel) She and her sibs fought in the battle were Crane died, and a lot of things happened during the battle. Heron, the bigwings, was close friends with Crane and was shocked and very sad when Crane died. Also, during the chaos of the battle, Mantella got separated from her sibs and ran into an IceWing. The IceWing pinned her down and slashed her right wing again and again. The IceWing then breathed frostbreath onto Mantella's right wing as well. Mantella passed out from the pain and the IceWing thought she was dead and left. Later, Mantella's sibs found her and brought her home and to a doctor. Mantella lived, but she would never fly again. Mantella's sad because she watches her sibs flying and wishes she could fly again and join them. Yay you made it to the end!
