The Cold League has mysterious origins. It is a cult of highly trained soldiers. These soldiers are a Marexian Remnant gone Communist, the most powerful remnant of Marexia. They were Marexian elites, of intense power. Though Marexia fell in 1920, this cult survived. Their leader is unknown, but it is known the leader was once a friend of Mothos. This friend was imprisoned by Sokron, and tortured. He managed to escape, but he was a different man. Hatred filled him, and he is now one of the greatest evils. Many have compared him to being as evil as Hoffman!
