(I wanted this to get out before 2024 but here we are) Welp, look who's at it again with the redesigns and the new characters. So, I know I redesigned Random around the start of 2023, and I've kinda finished all of the redesigns, but I still feel like some characters need an update. One of those was Blinky, who still had his old design for quite a while. However, I can't redesign one then keep the other the same, they're brothers. So here the new cartoon duo, with a much more cartoony style in my opinion (and I ditched the outlines since they were always such a hassle to deal with). As for the new girl next to them, that is Hailey. I'll explain more down below.
Among all these changes, there is one big change I must address. Random is finally getting a name change after so long. Random is just not a good name to me anymore and makes it hard to use the character. So from this day forth in 2024, Random shall now go by Randy (I know what a big change). Now, for the reason these two are becoming a trio. It should come to no surprise that Blinky is heavily based on Bendy, and now Randy looks more like a cat, like how Boris is a wolf. Just like with Bendy, Boris, and Alice, I wanted the cartoon bros to have a third character to go with them, so I decided to make Hailey (plus with Randy's name change they all have names that end in y). I also changed a few things with Blinky's design. Some notes: -Blinky now has an "orange" scarf instead of a bowtie -All three character have something around their "neck" (Randy's bandana, Blinky's Scarf, Hailey's fluff) -While not shown in the image, Blinky's head horns will always face the camera, like Mickey's ears in Epic Mickey -Hailey is not related to Blinky and Randy -The only thing that isn't black/grey/sepia colored is Blinky's head. This is supposed to represent an animation error, as his head is actually supposed to be grey. The same thing is true for his faded eye -I hid some things inside the project, have fun Anyway yeah that's it happy new year BYE
