Nobody suspected that on this day in Pompeii, Italy, a murder would take place. Nobody, except for the ones who had created and executed the plan, of course. There was going to be a senate meeting in a theatre. This is where it would all unfold. And if everything worked out according to plan, this would be the place where Julius Caesar meets his end… Tillius Cimber walks up to the theatre entrance, passing by Brutus, who was talking with Anthony. “Good,” he thought. “Hopefully Brutus will be able to keep him there long enough.” He went inside the theatre. A little while later, Caesar entered, and everyone stood to show their respect. Tillius and the others all surrounded Caesar as he walked to his seat, discussing releasing Tillius’ brother from exile. Caesar declines as he sits in his seat. Tillius pulls at his robe to expose his neck. This was the signal. Now, all he could do was hope that they did not fail. He watches as the senators stay in their places, hopelessly watching as things begin to unfold. Casca cuts Caesar in the neck, and everyone else begins to surround Caesar and stab him. It was not long before there was a huge mess of blood everywhere, but nobody seemed to mind. Soon, Caesar was dead. Tillius couldn’t help but feel a bit proud at how quickly they had gotten the job done, and how everything had gone exactly as planned. Tillius and the rest of the group fled from the scene. Nobody had ever been able to find them since then...
