Instructions

Welcome to chapter two!! Watch out, he might get you... ;3 No tw needed!! This is 100% non-triggering :3 (I think) First: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/939877894/ Previous: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/939877894/ Next: none yet :3 You open your phone to a new message. It's from Stella Nebula. - Hey, again. I know you didn't respond, but.. I just feel like that's because you can't. I feel like... I'm here to guide you. To help you. And well, I could use some help too. But that's okay. I... I guess.. I'll just tell you about recently. It's, it's kinda a lot. Also, sorry it's like a story. I like to write stories. . . I looked across my English class, taking a deep inhale. Where was Jake, and Leland? Both were missing from the class, and it was nagging me. This was one of two classes I had with both. They were missing from science, too. But they were here this morning, so I knew they weren't sick. A horrible feeling swirled around my stomach like acid butterflies, causing a painful and longing tug to my heart. I was sure that they were just.. doing something. However, I wanted to know what it was. What were they doing without me? We had become a sorta best friend trio, kinda. Aside from I had started to form feelings for Jake, but I didnt let them bother me. I wanted to focus on our friendship, since I had just gotten here a few months ago. Like.. two or three, maybe. Which wasn't much, compared to most of the kids, who had been with these people since kindergarten. A few had moved in more recently. I was the only new student this year, for any grade. Which made it weird. Other people had crushes on everyone, and I... I did too. But I was new. They weren't. They'd known these people for years. Literally. That didn't stop the worried feeling in my stomach, though. And Leland, too. Where was he? Although I didn't have these "love" feelings for Leland I still cared about him very much, and still loved him like a brother. In a not pickme way. I hate pickmes, but sometimes it feels like it's unavoidable being one. Anyways, I raised my hand. It stayed in the air for a... Long bit. Our teacher, Mrs.Broosh (br-ou-shh) was.. old. And couldn't see very well. She was a sweet woman, really. But it was time she retired. Anyways, once I was called on I asked to go to the restroom. She agreed, and as I went to leave, she cleared her throat. I looked at her, and she pointed at her desk. Right, I had to put my phone down. I shuffled over, and put the phone on her desk, rushing out the room. Standing in the hallway was Leland. He was .. standing, with a guy, and they were laughing together. Jake was standing next to Leland, but looked distracted from the two boys who were laughing. Leland noticed me first, and waved. "Hey, Stella!" He grinned, though he had already said hello to me that day, it felt nice to hear his sweet voice. Jake heard Leland, and looked up, before looking down again, at his phone. What was so important on it was not known to me, but I also knew that Jake would look at his phone for no reason when he didn't care, or was nervous. I walked over to the group of boys. The boy who they were talking to I didn't know. Looked pretty. Brown hair, light green eyes. Tan skin that was perfect, and was shining in the sunlight that came through the window. He was smiling. Not a nice smile, however. A kinda .. mischievous in a bad way smile. I ignored it. "Hey, there," I shouldered Leland playfully, and he winced. (He had hurt his shoulder in football, nothing big.) "Oh come on, Stells! You know that hurts!" he grunted, rubbing his shoulder. The boy across from Jake and Leland chuckled a low, deep chuckle. Weird. "Hey, Stellar," Jake mumbled, turning off his phone and looking at me. Stellar. That's his nickname for me. I call him Jakie, which he hates, but I don't care. He's Jakie. Leland is Lee-kee, pronounced like leaky because he's always leaking secrets to everyone. A big mouth. But that was okay with me, and Jake. "Hi Jakie. What's got you so wrapped up?" I asked with a gentle smile. Jake rolled his eyes with a smile, and looked at the random dude. "excuse her nicknames," he teased me, looking at me again. Then he sniffed, and scratched his nose lightly. "Yeah, my mom. She wanted to know what dinners gonna be. We decided on spaghetti," he explained. So he was doing something. Interesting. We chatted for a bit more, the dude who I still didn't know just smiling his sleazy smile and laughing his creepy laugh. I didn't like him much. "so, who are you?" I asked casually to the guy who now stood next to Jake and I, as we stood in our little circle. "Oh yeah, I didn't introduce myself. Im-" he got cut off by Mrs.Broosh. "Hey, guys. Just telling you that you're being a little loud. I don't mind you being out here, but please whisper," she advised with her soft, grandma-like smile. +

Description

(cont.d) "Sorry, Mrs.Broosh. we'll hush up," Leland smiled. Mrs.Broosh nodded approvingly and walked back into our classroom. Leland rolled his eyes. He wasn't a big fan of Mrs.Broosh, at all. . . Another note. You notice her last name doesn't have to do with stars or galaxies, right? Elders can choose to continue with their space legacy or become a more human like person, and no longer have their powers. Then they can take human last names. That's what Mrs.Broosh did after her husband died. . . I smacked Lelands arm lightly. "Oh don't you be rude! She's trying to be kind and be okay with us being out here. Don't you be a brat!" I gave him a somewhat cross look. he rolled his eyes as the mysterious guy laughed. "I'm off to class. Bye, Jake, Leland, and Stella," he said his goodbyes. No one said anything except Jake, who said, "See ya," and instead we just waved goodbye. Leland and Jake didn't talk much more after that, so I headed back to class. . That afternoon I saw the brown-haired mystery boy with a blonde boy who'd id never met before, either. Must had been in Jakes grade. I didn't want to approach them, because they appeared to be in a romantic interaction or something, so I didn't want to bother them. Instead I called up Ashley, and we hung out the most of that afternoon, hanging around a cafe and going back to Ashley's. She's a very kind girl, really. People think of her as mean, because around big groups she can be bossy and somewhat unkind. However, when you're with a small group of people she's very kind and caring, as well as she has a good sense of humor. So I don't mind her much, because I know that none of what she says in big groups is personal unless it's something that actually matters. Say she tells you that someone looks good today. That's genuine. But if she starts to argue with someone it's not so genuine, especially when you're like me and you know that she doesn't really mean it. . . Another note!! Ashley and Riley Rick are dating. So if I ever hang out with both of them, I'm really just there to make sure that Ashley doesn't freak out. Leland normally comes with Riley Rick, so Leland and I chat it up while the other two watch a movie. Don't worry, were quiet. . . That Friday Ashley and Riley Rick were hanging out, but instead of Leland, Riley Rick had brought Jake. Which didn't bother me, I loved spending time with both. Also remember that Riley Rick was friends with Leland and Jake too, and sits with us at lunch. So it wasn't weird. Jake and I, instead of chatting, ended up watching the movie with Riley Rick and Ashley. The order in the couch was (from left to right) Ashley, Riley Rick, Jake, me. Ashley liked to be on the edge and next to her boyfriend, so that's why I didn't sit next to her. She didn't want me to. She was starting to test the waters of dating by herself now, now that she was more comfortable with Riley Rick. No, Ashley had never dated anyone before. So this was a big thing, really. And no, Jake and I weren't shoulder to shoulder and cuddling and all that other crap like you wish we were. We were pretty spaced apart, an almost awkward distance between us. Later on Riley Rick approached me. "Hey, Stella. I need your advice, about Ashley," he admitted, a kinda worried smile on his face. "Yeah, Rick?" I just called him Rick. I was worried about what he was going to say, and if it would be like "I don't like her and wanna break up." However this is what he said. "Well, uhm, I want to start holding hands with her during our movie Fridays. But I want to be sure she's ready for it, you feel me? So would you ask her, or tell me if she's ready?" I nodded, and smiled. "I believe she's ready, yes. But that's for you to discuss with her, you know? You need to communicate to her about it. Just remember not to worry her," I advised. He nodded, thanking me. Him and Jake were staying the night here, and I decided I'd hang out with Jake, since I was staying too. This was the thing about Ashley, she forgot how to make plans with everyone at once. But that was okay. Jake and I talked all night, and fell asleep. Him on the couch, me on the huge beanbag chair next to the couch. . . And that, my friend, is where I will stop. I don't have much more to update you on. I hope you liked reading this! Sincerely (with love), Stella ---------------------------------------------------- sent 19:32 pm, Mon.
