I want to convince my parents to let me go to a furry convention. So I wrote an essay, but I'm not sure I should give it to them yet. I'd like your opinions. Honest opinions. I would appreciate your criticism. The essay is in the notes and credits.
The Essay on Furry Conventions That I am Writing to My Parents I would like to go to a furry convention. I understand if you would be concerned, which is why I am writing this essay. In this essay I will cover the benefits of going to a furry convention, and why I want to do it. I want to go to a furry convention because I already do furry roleplays on Scratch and share furry art on it. Scratch, to me sometimes, is a virtual furry convention. I thought it would be cool if I went to a real one. A furry convention could have many benefits. We can all agree that there are mental benefits to indulging one’s interests (In my case, wearing my partial fur-suit, drawing furry art, furry roleplay), and it could help if one interacts with others with the same interests. A furry convention could allow me to do that. Finally, the safety of a furry convention. If furry conventions have adult furry art (which is rare), there is usually a section for that, and if they do have that, it is traditionally inaccessible to minors, or the art may have a cover saying it is adult art before you view it. But anyways, content like this is always extremely rare and most furry conventions are 100% kid friendly. In conclusion, I would like to go to a furry convention. Furry conventions are fun, have mental health benefits, and are kid safe at least 99% of the time. This is your choice; as I mentioned earlier in the essay, Scratch is a virtual furry convention sometimes, though it would be fun to go to a real one. And it is okay if you go with me; you will find that children there often have their parents with them, and even the adults might have chaperones if they are wearing a full fur-suit, which has limited vision. So please, I beg of you, let me go to a real one.
