After the 1979-80 SL season, the original 79’ Thunderdallas team dropped most of their original roster. However, within the years, they had fallen off in the 80s, with them drafting the first round draft picks in 1981 (Richard Thomas), 1982 (Travis Houston), 1984 (Anthony Irving), 1988 (Francis Grey) and 1989 (Alexandria Buchanan Jr). The team however had won the 1986 championship prior (against Saxby). With the new team in check, they stormed through to the 1991 championship, where they defeated Agrippa 115-89 in a close match. They won again in 2003, after defeating the highly-anticipated Snivy team, lead by Alexander Snivy Sr, and Yoshi Hirachu. Their only other two championships they won were in 2017 (where they beat Marxiera 169-162) and the winners of their conference, the Pixel Island Conference (due to rules changing in 2022) in 2023 (defeating Bellvale 151-141) They are today the Thunderdallas Bulldogs choosing to adopt the name in 2017.
Their theme changed to the current Canterbury Bulldogs club theme.
