Me and Tucker were packing up to leave when we heard a noise. "What kinda hoods 'r those?" An old, gray cat asked. I whipped around and almost hissed when I saw two others with him. A young she-cat, just barely a kitten, and a teen male cat. I asked what they were doing here, and the old cat huskily explained how they all saw a purple gemstone, and they were carrying them and going on a journey. He told me how the barely kitten she-cat was Lightning, though they just gave her the nickname "Sparks", the black cat was Bat, and the old cat was Dub. The reason Dub asked me about my 'hood' was because I had my vest on. They had hoodies on for whatever reason. Sparks chirped up and said how weird my tail looked. Cheesy coming from the only bobtailed cat there. Bat shushed her and sheepishly asked if we knew about the zombies. I said that they killed my mother and probably Tucker's. I also explained how Tucker's father started them up, but now they're connected to the purple gems. Dub nodded. "Logical the cat who spawned the zombies had his son fix it," Dub growled. "Where is he? He should be doing this, not a bunch of kittens." I explained how Frost is dead because he tried to throw Tucker off a cliff. Dub scoffed. "Typical." Sparks giggled and asked, "Stuck-ups scoff before they agree to something~" Dub sighed. "Get used to that." He muttered. I introduced myself and Tucker and said we had to get prepared before leaving home. We headed to the cave and I said bye to everyone. I assured Birch I'd be back for her and teased Nibu not to grow too much before I got back. I thanked Shansu for everything before leaving. I took my book and the rocks, so I'm hoping not to lose any entries. Sparks is spunky and confident yet charming and respectful. Bat is quiet and aloof, and Dub is grumpy but fair. I have no idea where we're going, but Dub seems to know the way; correcting himself and pausing to make sure. I have no idea where we're going, but we're on a quest.
