December 26th Somebody finally came and knocked on my door. I answered and even though they were surprised a kid like me is still alive, they were happy to take me in. I told them mama and papa weren't very smart and they just said some stuff about a shock that comes with the apocalypse, and how its a common occurrence to happen with this sudden change. They brought us to their camp which was a huge hotel and gave me, mama, and papa a comfy room to sleep in. Mama and Papa don't really understand what is happening so they stay in the room all day and talk to each other. They say things like “Hi” and “How are you” a lot but I don't think they fully understand what they are saying yet, I’ll try and teach them more. On the other hand, I sometimes bring food from the cafeteria to the room so they think I give it to mama and papa, but they don't even eat so I try and give it to them but sometimes they eat because i'm giving it to them, it and other times they don't.
