Because I missed last year entirely hAHA I wanted to make a project for it this year :'D Wow, already two years. A-and only 10 chapters. I've hardly gotten anywhere on the 11th one. Uh. :") But I'm not too worried. I'm not working tOO much on art right now, (more on writing, actually!) much less STR, but I do intend to get working on it again. I still have SO SOSO MUCH TO FIGURE OUT. I LISTED ALL THE OF THE QUESTIONS I HAD TO ANSWER. THERE WERE 28 OF THEM. 2 8. AND THEY WERE ALMOST ALL BIG ONES. AAAAHHHH WHY DO I DECIDE TO MAKE ALL OF THE THINGS I WRITE HAVE SOME SORT OF MYSTERY ASPECT WITH HEAVY-ISH LORE AND ON TOP OF THAT I THINK I MAY OR MAY NOT BE HAVING A STYLE CRISIS (FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME) ahem. But yeah- I've been focusing on other projects, and…honestly kinda laying back a bit. I've worked pretty hard on a certain project for the past few months (and was under pressure too) and I think what I want to do now is just binge read some things and look at art other people make B) a n y w a y I'll try to get the 11th chapter of STR out soon. But after THAT…I'm going to try building something called a buffer. For people who don't know what that is, it's basically making chapters and pages ahead of time, so that I don't have to rush having to get something in quickly. (In order to create a good one soon though, I might want to switch to sketch form more often, so maybe some of the chapters wouldn't be all coloured in that often.) So Ch 12 may or may not come out late (not like that's surprising though lol), but that would be because I'm working on Ch 13 and maybe 14 >:"DD and honestly, some people are able to spit out high quality comics WITH a lot of work to do and lots of side projects, so maybe I should be able to too, right? And besides, here's something else to clarify: in 2022, I was juggling literally 4-8 worlds I was writing. Two were off scratch, then STR, and rp characters (the rp characters had different worlds). And that was a lot to do ovo' but now I'm kinda setting a lot of those things aside, and focusing on only one other project off scratch, my rp characters (which will probably be more of a side/passion project, but I still really do love them a ton lol), and STR, with the off-scratch project and STR being the possible priorities. (and rp characters ha) So maybe I'll be able to work on STR more! Maybe to make it easier (for now), I'll simplify the answers I'll give for the questions I asked myself ;"D But I'm sorry I didn't post as many chapters this year. I literally only posted 2. That's- not a lot. As. As you can see. And I'm not sure how much better it's going to get; especially with the fact that—and this is something that I bring up a bit—I might even be leaving in 2024. Because listen (and I'll try to keep this short): I'm probably getting pretty old for scratch. I am absolutely aware that people who are older than me—even adults—are hanging out (almost) regularly on here. But I'm not sure if that's what I would totally want to do, just because…well, I can't stay here forever, and if I want to really- aH, figure out stuff, then maybe leaving scratch behind me would probably be the best option. And WITH that, that might also mean…leaving STR behind here too? ;w; (I didn't intend for all that to sound so depressing lol) By that, that only means I'll stop posting STR on here, and it'll be lower in priority. That DOESN'T mean that it would be cancelled or just done altogether. Because honestly? Even though I get frustrated with it, I still like what I have already. And if I hyper-focused on it, I could create it to be something I would never thought (probably). I should know; it happened this year. :') Like, seriously, I'm sure I can create an entire, super lore heavy world if I want to. And maybe I can create STR to be just that; it definitely has the potential haha. The only catch is to develop such a thing (and only PART of it, for that matter), it would likely take me more than a month- XDXD but anyways.
