Static fills up the screen with an almost ear-deafening radio noise, but only a few seconds later. It begins. The radio tape begins with a cheery, and happy noise as 'Westly Park, E.S.T in 1830" fills the screen. All of this happiness is hiding something truly, gory and scary. Something so scary, over 10+ park rangers have quit, and retired from any job because of that unknown creature, looming in the dark shadows in Westly Park. Join me on the journey, the ride, whatever you may say. And let's dive into.. ..The Unkown Creature of 1954 The beige and sorrow background fades to a clip of 'Steve Andrew', one of Westly Parks' youngest park rangers. Steve begins to talk about a path blocked off because of 'a collapsed bridge'. What path, you may ask? Well, the path in question is 'Hebermen Way' famous for it's breath-taking views. But, something wasn't right.. As Steve continues to explain why this path is blocked off, a deep and looming growl comes from the bushes behind him. This growl wasn't a growl from a bear or fox, no. This was, different, strange, paranormal if you will. Steve stopped explaining and looked at the bushes behind them. "It's mid-day. Shouldn't them damn bears be hibernating?" Steve muttered under his breath. Steve just pushed it to the back of his mind and continued explaining about the collapsed bridge in 'Hebermen Way' but, 'Mark Smith', the camera-man, didn't take his eyes off of the bushes, so much so that Steve caught wind and snapped at Mark to, "Stop looking at the bushes, focus on the video footage, Mark." Mark got frightened by the snappiness in Steve's voice, he moved back in fear a slight bit but, almost immediately, moved back into position. Mark was starting to get freaked out. "That's not a bear growl, or any other growl from any animal at this park, what is that then?" Mark thought in his head "A fox?" "A moose?" Mark couldn't get his mind off of the growl and couldn't think of any other animal that could make such a blood-curdling growl. 3 minutes go by, and Steve has finished giving an explanation. Mark was about to switch off the camera when they both got a call on their walkie-talkies, but what they heard, was not what they were expecting... Mark and Steve both got a staticky call that we can barely make out, but what we can here is truly terrifying... A bloody dismembered head from a visitor in a bush, no other body parts were found. Only the bloody, and gory dismembered head. I need park rangers to come and check it out. Both of the rangers froze in fear. Only a few seconds later did Steve run towards Mark, yelling, "Mark, turn off this camera. Right now, go, go! Turn it off!" Static fills the screen, leaving the audience in total fear, as their jaw drops and their hands tremble in fear.. The tape falls out as the woman watching it is writing down notes, who was this woman? Where did she come from and what does she want with Westly Park? She puts down her pen and goes towards the vintage TV, picking up the tape and putting it right next to her note-pad before picking up another tape. She blows the dust off of the tape, making her cough a few times. She puts the tape into the TV with a simple click of a button before shuffling towards her couch and sitting down. Static yet again fills the screen and while we expected the 'Westley Park' intro, we didn't see that beige and sad intro, no. We see a company named 'Agency 99, helping fix the world' appear on screen. The woman sits up in hear seat as she see's that pop up on screen instead. The screen fades to a group of soldiers moving around said park, trying to shoot and kill this monster. Eventually, they make it to Heberman Way and they are greeted with a broken bridge and raging currents from below where said bridge was. "Men, move out. We need to find a way across. Go, go go." The high-end soldier says. Every troop behind him moves arpund, finding a way across. But, as the camera-man tries to go, the high-end orders, "You, camera boy. Stay here with me." Says, said high-end. The camera-man looks behind him, moving the camera due to the high-ends voice. He moves towards the high end and just, stand there with him. Although it is currently mid-day and the area is blocked off, the camera-boy still has a sudden feeling of regret. "What if a tourist comes by? What if they get absolutely mauled to death?!" He says in his mind. "What a stupid though," he says, out loud on accident. The high end is moving around the raging currents but hears the camera-man. "Oy, you 'aight?" High-end says. 30 minutes go by and some soldiers come back blurting out various ways across "Alright, alright. Shut up!" The high-end snaps, it's dead silent. "Take me to the way, and you. Camera boy. You follow." 45 minutes go by and what do you know? They found a way across. "The water here is slim enough so you can jump across without getting blasted away by the currents." One soldier says. "Very good."
Read the top before reading this below: Everyone jumps across but the camera-man is having second thoughts. "But, if I jump, I might lose the camera!" He says. "Just jump, you wuss." The high-end says, chuckling to him-self. The camera-man jumps but accidently lets go of the camera, having it accidently fall into the river. "Crap, no!" The camera-man is reaching his hand out to hopefully catch it in his hand. "Damn it!" The camera was unobtained and was still floating down the river very fast. The last words we hear are muffled and hard to make out, but that doesn't matter for the woman watching. "You, idiot!" is what was muffled. As the camera makes a halt at a sticky piece of soil, a growl, just like what we heard from the first tape is heard again. What seems to be heard are deer footsteps moving closer and closer to the camera. The deer-like creature makes it towards the camera and accidently steps on it, but the last frame before static is a skull like head of a goat. The tape falls out while the woman writes notes down. "What the hell was that creature?"
