In order to place seeds you just simply click on a patch of soil wait a few seconds until a potato pops up and click once more and as soon as you collect the potato, it's quickly sold from 2-10 coins. For a spot of soil it is 75 coins but in order to buy a spot of soil you click on the gems basket on the left side of the screen. Soon you can go to other planets and plant seeds and sell potatoes there too!
