.｡*ﾟ+.*.｡ ﾟ+..｡*ﾟ+ Hello fellow humans! I have decided to post a writing contest for no reason at all. Anyone can join, just make sure you comment down below that you're going to join and I'll add you to the list. I'm not going to be doing a curator form, but I do hope that you end up reading the rules. Also, I would appreciate anyone who ends up being a prizegiver. You don't have to be a PG on your main account, but if you have any test/alt accounts /please/ make them a PG - it helps more than you think. If you wish to be a PG, just comment down below! You can be a PG AND a contestant. Rules: - Be kind. You can leave constructive criticism on other entries, but you have to make sure that the remark is gentle and the person isn't going to take it in a negative way. - Don't be overly sensitive. If people are offering feedback, try to think of it positively - don't think that they're trying to make you feel bad or something like that, because they aren't. - Have fun! Don't think too much about the competition, just enjoy writing your stories or poems. That's what the purpose of this is, of course! - Be humble. If you /do/ end up winning, don't go bragging about it all over Scratch. You can be excited about it, but nobody likes when people rub their accomplishments in others' faces. I've never seen this happen before, but I just want to clarify that this /isn't/ okay. - Have good sportsmanship. I don't think I need to explain this one, but please, just be nice to others. It isn't that hard. - Your entry must be a remix, or it doesn't count. If your entry is a remix it's a lot easier to keep track of. :) Thank you! Important Dates: December 26th - Contest Opens + Judging Begins January 31st - Contest Closes (The deadline will not be extended, so be sure to put your entry in by this time.) March 10th - Judging Closes (This is the deadline for any judges. If the judges don't put their feedback in by this time, they won't be a judge anymore.) March 16th - Results Released March 19th - Prizes Given Judges: [POSITION SEMI-OPEN] Prizes: 1st Place - 100% of the prizegivers will follow you, hearts and stars on 5 projects of your choice, a shoutout in the Kool Writers' writing studio for a month. 2nd Place - 70% of the prizegivers will follow you, hearts and stars on 3 projects of your choice, a shoutout in the Kool Writers' writing studio for a week. 3rd Place - 50% of the prizegivers will follow you, heart and star on one project of your choice. Honourable Mentions - There will be two Honourable Mentions. Unlike the other places, the Honourable Mentions will only be based off of the story theme/poem theme (and mood!). There will be one Honourable Mention from each section.
