Part 2!! A few months earlier I was sitting in my room drinking a hot cup of tea when someone knocked on my door. “Come in!” I had answered. I looked at my clock. It was 9:43. Who could be here this late? Luckily I didn’t have to wait long for an answer. Ivy and Lainey came in. “Hey guys.” I said. “Hey Cori,” Lainey replied. “We wanted to talk to you about something.” She looked at Ivy and she nodded. Then Ivy said: “We’re leaving the S.I.U.” “What!” I cried. “Why?” “We don’t want to be good anymore.” I choked on my tea. “We just wanted to ask you if you would join us.” “You want me. To be bad. And join you?” I asked in disbelief. “Yeah.” Lainey said. “It wouldn’t be the same without you.” “We’re leaving tonight,” Ivy added. “Do you want to join us or not. Oh, by the way. The first thing we are going to steal, well after we get a secret hideout and all the other fancy stuff, we are going to steal the Ruby Halfs.” I fell off my bed. “The Ruby Halves?” I cried. You want to control the world?” “Of course we do,” Ivy responded. “Who wouldn’t?” “Me.” I said. Lainey looked at me. “So I guess you don’t want to join us.” I nodded. “Well,” Ivy said. “We should go.” They left the room without another word. It was until they asked me to join them the second time, I had wondered if I made the right choice...
