Why did you change the playoffs: The goal was to make the playoffs much more competitive, because it was too easy to get in before. I think we will see some more crazy match-ups, and a very balanced and talented squad. Also confrences are removed, and only focusing on the 5 divisons makes it more competitive. (as the teams don't match in real life anyway, so what's the point in have confrences.) Why did you change the Midseason Tourney: I changed it from a march-madness style 1 vs 16 to (10-25) seeded matches. Nobody really gave the mid-season tournament any effort, and usually there was no blockbuster trades. So I think worse teams will try to trade big so they can make the #13 seed and still have their draft pick. It's a win for everyone. The top 9 teams should be good enough for a playoff spot already, unless they collapse.
