Art - @SolarFlare_kitty1 Contest - @HarryOtter432 This is Stan. Stan is an outline, a doodle. Stan doesn't have much of a backstory. His tale is woven by his creator, as well as some of his personality. But generally, Stan is just a normal guy, someone for other original characters to hang with. He's a good listener, a kind person, and a shoulder to cry on. He knows his insignificance and lack of story make him basic, but he's fine with that. Stan is aware of what happens to other characters, whose owners gave them too much trauma. Stan also knows of the characters who were stolen, cloned, and redesigned. He is not either. He's Stan. And Stan is just normal. :)
When I went into this, I wanted to create something original. And then it came to me - a representation of how not having a convoluted, dark past doesn't make something uninteresting. Stan is exactly that. He's just the base people use when they design their character, and he can be molded to create the shape the artist had in mind. But at the end of the day, he's just Stan, a nice dude who wants nothing more than to be liked. Stan also understands that he doesn't need to stand out. He's perfectly fine with his current state. And people like him, because he's friendly and deserves it. And is that not enough?
