updates on my puppy (post-surgery) This is my dog Mylo He has bilateral knee problems This means that he needed surgeries on both of his knees eventually When he was like 18 months old, he got his first knee surgery And a couple weeks ago he got his second, and his knee’s recovery has been going bery well. Except this is Mylo and we can’t have anything easy with this dog When Mylo went to the vet for his appointments pre-surgery, he began having vocal and grand mal seizures. A grand mal seizure is where the whole body starts seizing. He started having them because of the stress. He had none post-operation And then last night when he had seen no vets or done anything stressful that day, he had a 3.5 minute long grand mal seizure. 3-5 minutes is where organ damage starts occurring. Thankfully he was okay, but he was so panicked that at 3 am, right after his seizure, he broke through both gates keeping him from the 2nd floor of the house and went to my parents. Poor señor was very scared and confused. So, as of now we’re not too sure what’s gonna happen with him. If he has another seizure like this, he’s going to the doggy ER, which would sound like a simple task to get him there but this dog is 140-150 pounds. Tbh at this point Idek if he’s a dog or like some creature from the Upside Down ._. Prayers for this poor puppy would be appreciated :’) <33
