I followed Birch into one of her outings and there was a cat in a tree. Birch asked what she was doing up there, and she said "Hiding from your scary brother." She went on about how she saw me and she was scared. I am surprised at how unapproachable I am. Anyways, the cat half-climbed, half fell off the tree. Birch and the random cat talked for a bit, and by their conversation, Birch was bringing up Stingray a lot. I instantly knew that Birch was thinking about being more than friends with that cat, even if she didn't know. I don't want Birch to get hurt - especially like that again. After Birch walked away, I caught up with the cat and asked if she wanted to go to the base. Up close, she's very small, but she's around me and Birch's age. She's very thin, too. She was very freaked out by me but she agreed to it. I brought the cat home, and Birch was mad that I did it for some reason. She said that her relationships weren't any of my business, so I asked her why she pried on me and Tucker so much. She left me alone after that. The cat she's friends with is named "Socks," which I have no idea what a sock is. She said she didn't either. Anyway, she hasn't been too much of an issue. She's a tortoiseshell but she has pure white eyes. I find it odd but it doesn't affect her overall so it's not much of an issue. The snow has melted a lot, however I do expect it to start up again.
