Those big predators that I saw last week were some lynxes. According to Shansu, they don't hunt cats as long as they don't cross paths. The snow was rising, but I found a spot where it didn't snow as much, so I chilled there for a while. I hung from a tree I saw and it felt like the first day I found Tucker. Tucker actually came over and hung on a branch above me so it felt even more like it. We hung out there for a while. I wanted nothing more than to cuddle up with my mother and tell her how my life was going, but I knew it was impossible. I wanted to tell my father how I had so much food that he didn't need to search anymore. I remembered the heartache, but I remembered I had Birch, Tucker, and Nibu by my side. I was a weak and scrawny little kitten then. Now, I'm stronger than I ever dreamed of being, and I'm more than ready to take on the future.
