the pools are normally cold to the touch once you first step in as the mortal body picks up the sudden drop in temperature and tells the body to get out of the water as instinct but as you go deeper into the pool, the temperature soon adjusts to the mortal body as it grows comfortable to the cold temperature as it soon becomes enjoyable, even through i used to swim but my mortal body doesn't know how to as my past form did but my mortal body lost the ability to swim due to me being slightly dense but i can simply float around on my stomach and thanks to the water level being shallow but still slightly deep enough still where i can still walk around freely without having any sudden drops i often bring extra clothes and towels so that way i dry off when im done floating about the shallow waters and not hanging around to dry off for a few mins before going back into the cold water to float about again and when im finally done i can hopefully dry off and chill out and relax as i neither float around and let the waters carry me as i am sorta light
