BACKSTORY (Cont.) Through the months, October's possession got worse. She started to black out for longer, and eventually blacked out for days. But then, one day. she woke up in her mind. She saw a cat, that looked like her, except they were tinted gray. The cat walked up to her, and grinned. OCTOBER'S PERSPECTIVE "Who are you?' I asked suspiciously. The gray cat looked at me in surprise. "I'm you." Answered the cat. "Future you." "Okay future me, why do you look like your evil?" I questioned. The cat laughed. "You'll see..." They giggled. Suddenly the cat disappeared, and I saw myself waking up. Except I wasn't waking up, and I was still in my mind. "Haha, I really messed up." I said to myself. October realized that she was screwed. She watched as she left her house, and walked to her coven headquarters. She saw her friend Ruby, (The one who told her not to drink the potion) and saw her scream as October's body leapt onto hers. October started clawing her. She was about to bite and k!ll Ruby, but October (the real one) pulled back into her body. Ruby yelled at her, and got mad. October explained that for the past few months, she had been getting possessed. Ruby screamed at her about how she told her not to drink the potion. October apologized and admitted she needed help. Against her will, Ruby helped her. Over the next 2 months, they researched how to stop possession. October and Ruby grew closer together, and became even better friends.Until one day, Ruby made a discovery. Once you started getting possessed, you had six months to live. it had already been 4 months, so Ruby never told October. Halfway through the 4th month, October stopped talking to Ruby. Ruby went over to October's house, and saw that she was sitting on her bed. Ruby went up to her, and October told her to leave. Ruby got frustrated and asked why she had been avoiding her. October said that she needed to rest, because the potion was making her tired. Ruby yelled that if she had never drank the potion, they wouldn't have to be doing all of this. They both paused, and October told Ruby that she knew the potion would possess her, and that she didn't care as long as she was more powerful. Ruby growled at her, and told her she knew what to do. Despite her silent anger, October followed. Ruby explained that all October had to do was go into her mind and negotiate with her future self, but to get into her mind, they needed a power source. That's when October had a lightbulb moment, and where our video starts. SPOILERS FOR VIDEO BELOW VIDEO I thought she had more time! Thought Ruby. She cried in pain as her friend dropped dead to the ground. She was too late, and now her friend was dead.
