EXPLANATION : so this is (young) coriolanus snow. yesterday I watched the prequel to the hunger games, called the balled of songbirds and snakes. this movie really hit me. especially coriolanus and lucy grey’s complicated relationship. I won’t spoil anything, but a lot happens in this magnificent three hour and a half movie. coriolanus was such an interesting character. he was shallow and selfish from the beginning, but I was quite impressed with his wittiness, even being young— and felt a deep connection not to him, but to the movie in general. especially since the hunger games is literally my favorite book / movie series and this movie really revealed many possible outcomes and theories, and Easter eggs to the original movies ( scenes, sets, related characters, etc. ) anyways, I thought I’d share this. I suggest watching it, but only if you’ve watched the other four hunger game movies or read all of the first three books.
