Instructions

The pegasus, The horse with wings. Magical horses, like unicorns, but completely different. A young pegasus slowly starts to take his first steps, out into the world. The pegasus has no idea he'll be put down, overlooked. "Magical horses? Oh! You mean unicorns!" Unicorns were what people thought of by magical horses. The pegasus colony lived in a field which looked like bottled up moonlight Their handsome wings glinting in the light And yet no one cared. No one saw the beauty of the creatures, preferring to look at the strutting, prideful unicorns. And why? Because they were pretty? Social, happy creatures? Not the shy, scared pegusi, with their silky wings and sparkling eyes. The young pegasi was a feisty little guy. He was mad that his species was overlooked. He wanted to be seen. So he pretended. He held his wings to his side. He wore a fake horn he had found somewhere. And he was a unicorn. Finally, the young horse with wings was loved, not invisible. But then He was tired of pretending. He wanted to be himself. A little kid found him, crying. "Are you okay?" She asked, genuinely worried for the poor pegasus. He told her everything. She seemed so trustworthy. And she smiled wrapped her arms around his gleaming neck. "I thought I had to pretend to be someone else to be loved, too," She told him. "But you don't have to pretend. Just be you." From that day on, the girl and her horse with wings, were best friends. And best of all, they loved each other for who they were. ~The End~

Description
