Some lore on Riptidestar and Sunspots! Before Rosefall was even born, Riptide and Sun had a secret relationship. Well, in Riptide's eyes. Riptide has a bit of kitty autism, which if you didn't know, autism can cause unclear communication a lot more often. To Riptide, he thought it was clear that they were in a relationship. Sun just thought it was a good friendship. Sun DID get a crush on Riptide, but he was a bit shy to 'admit' it to him. Later, Riptide learns that Rosefall, Sun's apprentice, had a kit. He's blinded by rage and exiles Rosefall, causing a giant rift in Sun's and Riptide's relationship. Sun is betrayed by Riptide, and Riptide just says it was for the good of the Clan. Later, Duckheart, Sun's sister, develops a plan that she offs the cat that told Riptide, Blackshade, and Sun offs Riptide. Sun agrees.
