Hoping to make art of them and perhaps a ref once I get inspiration for poses. Bios Minnow: Name: 凌介 (Ryosuke) Nickname: Ryo Age: somewhere between 17-19 Height: probably around 5'3 the tail makes it difficult to tell so sometimes he may look shorter or taller Gender: male (most people can't tell his gender) Sexuality: not really interested at the moment Kiwi: Name: unknown Nickname: Kiwi Age: 17-19 Height: 5'5 Gender: Female (usually mistaken for male however) Sexuality: questioning Lore ig: Ryo lived in a kingdom with other mermaid like creatures like him, he was on of the many princes, 3rd in line for the throne, he was often ignored, not neglected per say he was still looked after and cared for but he never got as much attention as his siblings, he also didn't always have the best relationships with normal people either since they would often take advantage of his status, then he met Kiwi, a land-dweller and someone who didn't take advantage of him and accepted him for who he was, Kiwi lived on a small but populated island were their main income came from sea trade, Kiwi helped with getting supplies on ships and seeing them off, one day one of Kiwi's clients, who was a pirate, saw Kyo and wanted to capture him thinking he could out him on display as a show and get a lot of money, neither Kiwi and Kyo were aware of this, so later when Kyo was by himself swimming in the water a bit too close to the surface, the pirate caught him with a harpoon and pulled him into his ship, he then locked him up in the bottom of his ship for about 3 days not giving him food or water, when the pirate finally went to get him when he opened the door Kyo attacked him and when the rest of the crew came he did the same, eventually he had k-lled all the sailors on board, and he enjoyed it, this is the moment where he started developing his multiple personalities, unsure of what to do and too scared to acknowledge what happened he returns home, his parents end up finding out about this and banish him from his home, he now resides with Kiwi. Other stuff about the both of them: -Kiwi started working before they were legally allowed to -Kyo has a scar from the harpoon -Kiwi managed to get a potion that allows Kyo to have legs on land, but if they get wet it turns back into a tail (like that one show H2O just add water or whatever that one mermaid show was idk I just watched the animated version once then literally never watched it again so idk-) -Kiwi is a really good barginer -Kyo has a soft spot for fuzzy animals, especially cats -Kyo's "other side" is a lot more violent and psychotic it's usually only triggered by humans, some he's okay with but he tends to try to stay away from any, he's more comfortable with monster land-dwellers -this doesn't really have anything to do with them but land-dwellers are humans and monsters that live on land and sea-dwellers are the monsters/'humans' that live in the sea -Kiwi got some abandonment issues from childhood trauma, he's gotten through most of it though it still affects him This is getting long so I'm gonna just stop here feel free to ask questions about them , the story may change a bit as I try to do some more worldbuilding in my head and just overall going over the full story.
