Energy sources of the future One day I came home from school. It was cloudy outside and therefore it was dark at home. I wanted to turn on the light, but for some reason it didn’t turn on. Then I lit a candle to find the control room telephone. When I found it, I called there and they told me that the power would not be turned on until tomorrow due to an accident at the thermal power plant. And then I thought that the thermal power plant uses fuel to generate electricity, which pollutes the environment and may someday run out. I began to think about what could replace this energy source in the future. I couldn't come up with anything good and decided to go to SCRATCH. It's good that the laptop battery was fully charged so I could turn it on, but its operating time was limited. I thought: what if each person, when walking, converts the energy of his movement into electricity, which will be accumulated in a small device? It will be worn on the hand and may look like an ordinary watch. And then, when coming home, a person will take off this “watch” and insert it into a station that receives the accumulated energy. And this energy will be used in electrical appliances. I drew this process in SCRATCH and brought it to life. But as soon as I had time to click the “Publish” button and read the message that the project would be published as soon as the Internet was available, the laptop turned off. I thought it would be a good idea to add solar panels to each house. Then, when the power was turned on and the Internet turned on, I received a notification from SCRATCH that the project was posted.
