I love drawing my background characters, but those crowd shots take a heckin long time to finish. Background character fun facts: - Tangerinetail is Cedarstripe’s beloved husband. - Ivyfrost is based off a cat my irl friend catsits. Same friend also came up with her name. - I love giving protagonist names to background characters. That’s why the weird old caroling elder who doesn’t even have any speaking lines is called Horizon-glint. Tell me that isn’t a protagonist name. Though I keep misreading his name as Horizon-lint, which is a bit less protagonist-y. - The calico cat with a scratched out eye (Squirrelear) and the light tan cat with blue eyes and long cheek fur (Palepetal) are currently crushing on each other hard. They’re the token background lesbians, something every good comic needs.
