Art - SagePhaze Story- SagePhaze and Irene Palm (Wat*pad) Thumbnail- Wun in the midst of the flames ——— Animatic description: This short animatic follows the story of Wun, newly named acting ‘leader’ of the defect camp as decided by the dystopian government council. Wun holds a strong hatred and longing for revenge after the rebels who attacked the defect camp in the hopes of bringing down the government, who, are imprisoning defects, failed, and ended up accidentally killing a dozen innocent defects- including Wun’s parents. Angry and overwhelmed with grief, Wun demands a position in the council running the defect camp in hopes of getting a position that will allow her to get revenge, despite being a defect herself. And comes the time where Wun gets her chance- the rebels break into the defect camp on the darkest night of the month, but the camp is prepared. The council running the defect camp attack the rebels, and a fight breaks out in the defect camp. A fire starts and defects are running for safety while the Council and Rebels fight in the midst of the flames. Wun’s mask breaks after a Rebel plunges their spear into it, and discovers Wun- the acting leader of the defect camp- is a defect herself. The rebels win and the council are forced to flee, leaving the rebels and innocent defects amidst the flames to find their own means of escape. However, at the last moment, sage out of range, the council blows up the defect camp, killing all attacking rebels yet also killing thousands of innocent defects. Ones that Wun hadn’t intended to help kill, but died anyways. It’s this moment that Wun truly realises how evil the council is, and knowingly, they trap her in a cell in their facility. ——— Hhhhhh this took a very long time.
