I spent a good bit of time (and by that I mean around 3 minutes) thinking about Hex's backstory (how they got their curse, etc.), and this is what I have: -Hex accidentally stumbled into a cave as a duosion, and touched a funny looking rock filled with dark magic, giving them a curse -The curse allows an eldritch being to inhabit their head, along with their normal mind -Speaking of their normal mind, Hex has split personality disorder (kinda) as a result of being two minds meshed into one head when they evolved into a reuniclus -Technically there are 3 personalities inhabiting their head (their normal/preferred one, their alternate one, and the eldritch being) -Their eyes change color depending on which personality is active (Dark blue is their normal one, yellow is their alternate one, and black with one "Sans" eye is the eldritch one) -The curse allows them to brew potions that can do a variety of strange things (cause the consumer to shrink, change color, etc. for a short amount of time) -They own a potion store on the edge of town, which is just a run-down shack with a sign over the front (Hex doesn't have the funds to buy an actual store) -They're a jokester, and like playing (mostly) harmless pranks from time to time
