*commence yeeting of celebration art* I had motivation so I used it, just some art of the characters from my Cabinet Man MAP. I made it Clay playing the arcade cabinet because I just wanted this to fit the song and I kind of based it off this: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/303086631 Notes about the MAP I wanted to share with you all: - the character designs were based off of the Catabolic Seed Peril MAP on YouTube. I wanted to emulate the same bright-soft pallet the MAP designs had, and I hope it didn't copy too much from it because I really wanted the designs to stay original. - Cabinet Man would've been a MAP about my OC Cyberpunk and her backstory, similar to Pools. In the process of making the call, I knew a MAP like that wouldn't work out because of what happened with Pools. - random fact about me: this is my favorite Lemon Demon song and my favorite one in the album. -In the process of drawing Osprey, I accidentally gave him wings when he wasn't supposed to have any, realized I couldn't erase it, so I ended up drawing in the paralyzed tail instead. I would preffered wings over tail but oh well. - the MAP Call took me only two days to finish. The fastest I have ever been completing a call. Pools took me a week or two, probably because there were so many parts. As well as me trying to get into the groove of drawing with a mouse. - The script for part 5 was originally supposed be the Gill fight, but was cut out and moved to part 9 instead due to it not fitting the timeline of the book. Notes about character designs: - The patterns on Clay's back are supposed to be mud splatters. - Peril's design was initially supposed to be a lot more simple, but when I started to draw her ref I just thought: "you know what imma wing it" and ended up with what we have now. - Glorys segmented horns are intended to resemble the trunk of a palm tree. - Although Starflight has teardrop scales, in the Cabinet Man A.U he still does not have any special powers, and they are just a fun "cosmetic." - Scarlets design was partially inspired by the Scarlet design from the Lone Digger MAP on YouTube. I guess that all I have to say about the MAP.
