Merry Christmas and welcome back to one one of my projects! This is a song I wrote called "Confidence and Providence". It's the first song I've written that I ever thought was good enough to share. It is a song about two gifts, both to one who deserved neither. A soul one lived in darkness and hopelessness, broken and hurting. Not a day went by without his mistakes telling him who he was. Then, one day, this poor soul found hope, or rather, hope found him. His only Hope gave him two gifts. The first was a promise that the soul could be confident in believing in hope. The second was another promise, that no matter what happened, everything was going to be alright. And that former poor soul was now filled with joy and peace, and started a new life, to give these two gifts to everyone he met. Was the story happily ever after? It certainly didn't end there, it only begun. But a life holding on to what is most important all of it's days will end more happily than it began. And who was this poor soul? It might be someone you've never met, it might be someone you have. It might even be you. I give this short song and story as my gift to you. I hope they both help you on your journey through life.
