The St. George Illawarra Dragons first joined the NRL back in 1920, they were just St. George from 1920-1998, when they merged with the Illawarra Steelers. They have won 1 championship as St. George-Illawarra, that one being in 2010, and 15 while as St. George, from 1941-1979.
