Violence/trigger/death warning below? Idk this project got taken down and I dunno why so I’m trying to fix it To those who think cat rescue is fun, here’s what a feral kitten can do. Actually, no, here’s what a normal slightly scared kitten who’s given medication can do. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s much worse in person. My whole arm is ripped up and covered in bandaids. On top of that, we have a flea infestation. Thsi can happen to anybody whether or not they have cats and the fleas are always bad in my area but taking in outdoor cats doesn’t help. So we were going to clean so we could vacuumed today. No, instead we’re sitting here all day waiting for a kitten to die. He’s having seizures and he’s unconscious now. I love doing cat rescue, but please, if you’re one of those people who has the grand idea that cat rescue is cute kittens and fun and good for mental health then you’re thinking of it the wrong way. It’s hard work, and it’s hard emotionally, physically, and mentally. If you want do do cat rescue, I highly encourage that! Just make sure you realize that there are sacrifices, and that you want to do it for the right reasons :) Not attacking anybody btw, just wanted to make a point xD Still not feeling great though… Im having a really bad year I’ve made projects with titles like ‘cat rescue is not fun and games’ before.. but it just rubs me the wrong way that people have this idea that it’s just kittens and cuddles. It’s not. It’s really not, and the cat rescue people are jerks if I’m being honest. Ironically, cat rescue people are often quite catty. Not all of them.. but a lot of them. *sigh* I guess I’m just ranting at this point.. sorry, bad day.
Clickio Why did this project get taken down for going against community guidelines?? There was nothing wrong with it! I was sharing a clean, meaningful message about animal rescue and the hardships rescuers go through to help these animals. I had some pictures of my arm torn up from a cat attack but the pictures weren’t showing serious wounds and had no faces or the rest of the body showing. Just my knee on accident lol. So, yeah. That’s why none of your comments are here. The project got taken down. So I had to save this as a copy and reshare. Ugh- I’m so fed up with this! To whoever reported, please discuss things like this with me before getting my project taken down. I’d love to have a respectful, calm discussion with anyone who sees a serious issue that needs reporting in one of my projects. If you’d be willing to talk it out with me to figure out a way to fix the problem that would much be appreciated instead.
