❝ Nothing ever lasts forever…. ❞ ——— ——— ——— Our story takes place in an alternate universe from the main books. The Dragonets of Destiny never happened, Jade mountain never happened, Clearsight and Darkstalker never happened. The sandwing war never happened, this is simply Gwen's alternate Universe. Some tribes have a few changes either to their design or their vibe. The seawings, one frolicking on the beaches and flying by the shores, have completely submerged underwater, building their kingdom in a deep, deep trench. They have adapted and changed. Their eyes are bigger, their bodies more adapted to the deep, and more barbels and whiskers have started to grow on their faces. Their tails are larger as well. ( Claimed ) The Skywings have spent the years evolving their technology, and only climbing higher into the sky. Their technology is similar to that of Ancient Rome, and their knowledge far surpasses the other tribes. The arena still exists, and games are held occasionally there, like the Olympics. ( Claimed ) The Rainwings have become harder, stronger, and faster. A strange fog has settled over the kingdom as well, as any dragon who isn’t a rainwing who goes in…Never comes back out. They also have longer frills. They live in the canopy, and make for incredible assassins. Their only weakness is that their horns, talons, mouth, and blood do not shift colors. The icewings have lost land. The ice melts faster each year and the snow comes later. Their palace has started to melt, and icewings are being driven even further north, onto Sea Ice floating in their bay. Their spikes on their spines have grown shorter, and a few individuals have started to get some brownish coloring. The rank system never existed, and life is rough for the icewings. The nightwings have always lived in the old kingdom. The kingdom on the volcano is instead a research base, as the nightwings strive to be as advanced as the skywings. They have the most libraries out of any kingdom.Their powers are more erratic and crazy, and Less controllable. Many members with powers go insane, and special housing facilities have been built for them. They also have evolved more silver scales, outside of the teardrops behind their eyes. ( Claimed) The Sandwings have grown to an immense power. Being one of the few tribes able to safely traverse the heart of the desert, they have grown a mighty kingdom. Gold glimmers in every palace room, and the palace stretches up into the sky. However, the poorer towns stretch across the desert. Most Sandwings are poor or barely middle class, and the rest of the Sandwings sit comfortably in the richest class, as royal guards, advisors and more. They have evolved venomous fangs, and the venom in their barbs is less potent, only causing Nausea and extreme pain. as now their barbs make a hollow rattle when shook. They have also evolved black markings across their bodies. ( Claimed ) The mudwings have actually become the most peaceful of the tribes. No longer believing in war, they have settled down and become humble farmers. They worship the sun, celebrating the longest day of summer with a large feast. Though there are traditional family groups with Bigwings still, Villages and towns now identify as one big group. It's extremely rude to not help a tribe-brother (non-family mudwings). They have avoided any major changes, though their bodies have grown to be the physically strongest of any tribe. The Hivewings have taken over Pantala. They rule over the entire continent, their hives stretching for miles and miles. They have taken the silkwings as their own prisoners, locking flamesilk away in their own special dungeons. Royal hivewings have evolved to be larger and are known as a "Queen Bee ''. They also have evolved antennas. They never came from a beetlewing mixed with Clearsight, they simply evolved alongside the Leafwings. ( Claimed ) The silkwings are prisoners in their own homes. After intermixing with the Hivewings hundreds of years ago, they have evolved from Beetlewings to their current state. They still keep the hard, plated armor and the metamorphic wings from the Beetlewings, but they have grown to be much weaker. Their antennae are now twice as sensitive, and they can even detect slight shifts in the air. Many are meteorologists. However, the sad part is, The silkwings are not free. They are basically owned by the hivewings, who control their very lives.However, a small resistance had been brewing. It's small, but all good armies start small. +

With no home, they were forced to scatter across the continents, with some of them picking up assassin jobs. They had evolved a poisonous spit, and their plantspeak only grew stronger. But, they hardly live an easy life. Most leafwings are constantly on the run, and some leafwings have been captured for the sole purpose of queens having a Rare "thing" in their collection. The world has been at peace for a few years... But how long can it truly last? The world is starting to fall apart, scuffles are more common, and the entire world is on the edge of war. The tribes are being pushed closer and closer to violence, and the world seems to be ending. However, there is word of hope. Not a prophecy, but a group of dragons determined to keep peace. However, the Media doesn’t favor good stories. Will this group even get anywhere? Will they even do anything? Only time will tell. But, favor has shown to be cruel to the little ones of the world. But it is most dangerous thinking to assume you will stay little forever. Every great revolution started with one, simple ripple in the water. ——— ——— ——— Oh yea, About the contest- Write a good queen/king for any of the open tribes, and whoever writes the best one get them. Im gonna be extra picky about the icewings btw ;] you ARE allowed to write concepts outside of my basic ones, but you can't re-write the tribes completely. you also must understand that i can completely just say no to a concept if im uncomfortable about it Also, any mention of a dragon from the books is banned (UNLESS it's just someone with the same name, but please state that it is-) Ight go FERAL
