Happy therianthropy day!! (It was yesterday) I have an announcement. So you've probably all heard that you need to experience involuntary animal experiences to be a therian. YOU DO NOT!! You just need to believe that you are an animal on a non-physical level. That's it! That's all you need! I've been guilty of saying "Oh, you need to have involuntary animal instincts". You don't! You genuinely genuinely don't! You also don't have to know your theriotype! You don't need to know, like or feel connected to that animal. You just need to feel like you're not completely human. I don't know if it's the same for otherkin or theriomythics. If I find out, I'll let you guys know. I wish I knew this, it would have made my journey so much easier. All I ask, is that you spread this around: you just need to feel that you are not completely human on a non-physical level.
