Description

Happy Pi Day! (3 / 14 ; 3.14 ; 3.14159265... ; pi) This project is supposed to show different methods of calculating pi. It is set up in a way so that it can accommadate many different methods. So far, though, it only has one method; the Gregory-Leibniz (Madhava-Leibniz actually, but I chose the one that was easier to pronounce) Series. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leibniz_formula_for_pi Click the button to start calculating. You might want to download and run in turbo speed. And you may also want to click the reset button, since I might have made a small mistake in the calculations by changing the scripts while it was running. I tried to optimize the method so that it first finds the average between the low and high fluctuations of each -+ cycle of the alternating series, and also is set up in a way so that it only displays the average after each 2 -+ cycles so that it only increases (I found fluctuations quite annoying to watch)
