She's about to have her first litter, and I wanted to give a bit of information about the way Tess will raise the kits, even if some of this won't happen irp. ↠-----↢◈↣-----↞ ➵ meet Tempestsplash --- reference : https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/930440809 - Tess is a very chaotic cat, making decisions based on how she feels in the moment and not giving the future much thought. She loves excitement, and is always going on adventures, often throwing herself into danger without a second thought. However, she's very caring and deeply loyal to those she cares about, and is a genuinely friendly cat, always wanting to meet new cats and make friends. She's resilient and hardworking as well, and loves to help others out, even if that interrupts her own plans. - the kits will be encouraged to refer to her any variation of 'mom', 'mama', etc., though she won't really mind what they call her - she'll give the kits individual nicknames as well, but also call them things like 'little one', 'kiddo' & other affectionate little nicknames ➵ general parenting style - Tempestsplash is a more relaxed and easy-going mother, mostly letting her kits do their own things, though she'll make sure to always be there for them and help guide them. - although Tess will let them go on adventures and be independent, she'll also keep a close eye on them. She's a bit over-protective, as this is her first litter, and will insist on going everywhere with them in the first few moons of their life, making sure they don't get into danger. - family is very important to Tempest, and she'll spend as much time as possible with her kits. Even if Tess and her kits don't interact much irp, assume that she's extremely active in her kits' lives. - she'll insist on letting them meet all of her family in riverclan and develop close relationships with them- around the time the kits are born, their second cousins (the coastal crystals litter) will be born as well, so they'll have family their age to play with - Tempestsplash will teach her kits to be friendly and kind to others, but also to never let someone insult you without paying for it. ➵ views --- starclan - Tempestsplash believes in StarClan, though her faith isn't as strong as most cats due to the fact that she grew up not knowing about StarClan. She'll encourage her kits to trust in StarClan, but at the same time be okay if they chose something else to believe in. --- the warrior code - the warrior code is something that Tempestsplash has a mixed opinion on- she thinks that most of it is logical and okay, but the part about protecting borders and sticking with your own clan never really made sense to her. She'll tell her kits that it's okay to break the rules when you have a good enough reason, but other than that she'll encourage them to listen to the rules and follow them. --- other clans & loners/kittypets - Tempest has many friends in other clans, and she was once a loner who lived with two-legs, so she has a positive view on most other cats. oh, and I forgot to add this: Tempestsplash grew up as a ship cat, moving to the clans when she was 15 moons old, so she'll often tell her kiddos stories about ship life
