Vilriettians (Vil-ree-et-ee-uns) are all catlike people, and Shorakuleians (Shore-uh-koo-lay-uns) are mothlike people. The reason Inferno has clothes but the guard and Scallion don’t is because that in Vilriettan, (Vil-ree-et-un) clothes are a personal choice, but in Shorakules (Shore-uh-koo-lays) they are a sign of social status. Scallion could have worn clothes if he wanted to, but Inferno gets a uniform because of her status in her town.
